Parent’s Workshop for RWI by Oxford

In order for parents to be able to share in their children's development, and to further reinforce what they are learning in the ABC Phonics – RWI by Oxford, we have designed an intensive Synthetic phonics programme for adults.

The workshop addresses all aspects of RWI by Oxford including:

Correct pronunciation of the 44 sounds in the English language;
Usage of the blending technique, used when joining individual sounds to form words;
Decoding, breaking down of words into their constituent sounds by decoding them in order to spell them correctly.

The workshops will focus on learning the foundation of the system, and then progress to more advanced techniques of blending and decoding. This course is not only a 'must' for parents with children already enrolled in the ABC Phonics ─ RWI by Oxford, but is also invaluable to adults interested in their own personal development.
